What is “Mobile Deposit” from NETCU?
Mobile Deposit allows members who use our online banking app to take a photo of a check to deposit to their NETCU Account.

Do I have to use a phone or can I use my tablet for Mobile Deposit?
You can use Mobile Deposit from any device where you currently use the app.

Is there a charge for this service?
There is no charge from NETCU to use this service. However, standard data rates will apply from your wireless carrier. See your plan for details.

When will my funds be available from my Mobile Deposit?
If the deposit is transmitted before 4pm on a day we are open, the deposit will be available the next business day we are open. However, it can take up to three business days to become available. The deposit will appear in your NET Teller Available Balance when it is available.

Are there limits to how many times I can use Mobile Deposit?
You can deposit up to 5 items with a total of up to $500 each day. There is also a limit of 10 items and $1000 for the month as well.

Can I request a change to these limits?
If you would like to request different deposit limits, you need to contact your local member service representative to see if you qualify.

What do I do with the check after I make a Mobile Deposit?
Upon receipt of confirmation from NETCU that we have received an image that you transmitted, you agree to retain the check for at least 30 calendar days. Please keep it in a safe, secure location.
