The North East Texas Credit Union offers a variety of savings accounts in

order to best serve our members.

 

Basic Share Account

Our member share accounts pay regular monthly dividends on balances of $100 or more. Dividend Rates increase as balance increases.  Each member has a share account as a part of membership.  If needed, additional share accounts can be added for specific savings goals or family members.

Holiday Club Account

Need to save some extra cash for the holidays?  How about a special vacation you are planning?  Maybe you need a new TV or Computer and want to put aside for it each month!  The Holiday Club Account will help you meet your goal.  You can have money auto transferred into your account through NET Teller and watch your savings grow.  The account draws dividends monthly for balances over $100 and to help you stay dedicated, you can only make one withdrawal each quarter without penalty.  The account balance will be paid to you or transferred to another account each year on or after November 30th, just in time for the holidays.  Ask your member service rep for details and start saving today!

 

Dollar Dog Kid's Club

Dollar Dog Kid's Club is designed to help children up to 12 years of age learn to save and manage money responsibly.  It starts as a simple deposit savings account and can be opened for as little as $5 and immediately begins to draw a dividend.  We work with several area schools to allow kids to have access to making regular deposits on their own.  Give your kids a financial head start today!  Ask any member service representative for more details....

Cha-Ching! Teen Club

The Cha-Ching! Teen Club offers a savings account designed for students age 13 - 17 years of age.  Enrollment is automatic for Dollar Dog members or can be opened at any CU Office.  This account can also be opened for as little as $5 and immediately begins to draw a dividend.  Cha-Ching! Members are also eligible for checking accounts and MasterCard Options with parental involvement.  Ask any member service representative for more details...

 

 

The Edge Savings Account

Are you on the Edge?  The edge of adulthood, the edge of College, the edge of a whole new life?  The Edge is a club account option for our 18 to 24 year old members who are just getting started on a whole new journey.  From their first car, first house, marriage, college and all the things that come with the transition to adulthood, the NETCU is here to get them going in the right direction.  The Edge Savings Account is like a regular savings account except that it puts them in the club that allows them special deals on checking, loans, education opportunities and so much more. Certificates of Deposit (CD)

These accounts provide higher rates to members with larger sums to put into savings over a fixed period of time.  Certificates of Deposit dividends are accrued daily. There is a penalty for early withdrawal.
